However, her concern grew as she failed to spot her at the store for a long time and decided to look for her.
She discovered her daughter’s ‘charred remains’ in the bakery oven after a coworker observed ‘leakage’ from the area.
A family representative has since shared that Gursimran’s loved ones are devastated by her unfortunate passing.
As per the community plea, Gursimran’s burnt body was discovered in the walk-in oven at the Bakery a couple of hours later.

Less than three years ago, she and her mother arrived in Nova Scotia.
Law enforcement informed the press that the young lady was on duty during the time of the unfortunate event. The officers have left the scene, but the investigation is still ongoing.
Her father and brother remain in India, while the community is urgently working to gather the funds to bring them to Canada.
The agony endured by this family is beyond comprehension and impossible to put into words. The appeal stated that they require your assistance to make it through this dreadful period.
Harjit Seyan, head of the Maritime Sikh Society in Canada, informed Global News that his community has been backing Gursimran’s grieving family since her passing on October 19.
Seyan mentioned that the close family is completely taken aback.
They are experiencing a type of psychological distress. We are deeply saddened to hear about such a tragic occurrence.
The Nova Scotia Department of Labour has recently issued a ‘stop work order’ for both the bakery and a piece of Walmart equipment. It has not been specified which equipment is included in that order.
Balbir Singh, who is the secretary of the Maritime Sikh Society, mentioned that the victim’s mother is currently in Canada and is undergoing ‘psychological counselling.’
He stated that steps are being taken to bring more immediate family members from India.
Singh anticipates a religious ceremony will take place in Halifax once Gursimran’s body is released by the medical examiner, who is still investigating her official cause of death.
The upsetting audio recording of the emergency services dispatch call has now been made public, providing in-depth information about the unfolding tragedy to first responders.
The dispatcher reported that there was a ‘woman trapped inside a stove at the bakery.’
The oven has been turned on. Uncertain if employees can deactivate it.
By the time first responders arrived on the scene, they told dispatch the woman ‘was out of the oven.’
She died at the scene.
Martin Cromwell, a police officer in Halifax, described the investigation was ‘complex.’
He said: ‘We understand the public is involved, and we just wanted to encourage the public to be patient with our investigation and be mindful that there are family members and coworkers involved.’
Walmart Canada said they were ‘heartbroken and our deepest thoughts are with our associate and their family. We extend our sincerest condolences to those who were closest to them.’
Staff rostered on to work this week will still be paid despite store closures. The store will remain closed until further notice.
